Katharina von Hanau (born March 26, 1525 , † August 20, 1581 ) was the eldest daughter of Count Philip II of Hanau-Munzenberg and Countess Juliana zu Stolberg .

In 1543 Katharina married Count Johann IV von Wied-Runkel and Isenburg († June 15, 1581), who was mentioned in Cologne in 1525 as a canon , in 1534 was enrolled in the law faculty of the old University of Cologne ( Universitas Studii Coloniensis ) and later in the secular Stand stepped.
