Katwitwi , also incorrectly called Katitwe , is a settlement and border crossing in the Kavango-West region in northern Namibia . The settlement is on the border to Angola at an altitude of 1113  m . Katwitwi is located on the left bank of the Okavango , around 35 kilometers northwest of the city of Nkurenkuru .

The border crossing was connected to Tsumeb by the B15 national road in December 2013 .

Katwitwi received the status of a settlement in 2016 and will receive the status of a village in 2020.
