Kendrick Scott

Kendrick AD Scott (born July 8, 1980 in Houston ) is an American jazz musician ( drums , composition ).

Live and act

Scott, who comes from a musical family, learned the drums early on and soon joined his church and junior high school ensembles. From 1998 he studied on a scholarship at Berklee College of Music until graduation in 2002. Then he worked with The Crusaders , Pat Metheny , Joe Lovano and Kenny Garrett , Dianne Reeves and Lizz Wright . He was involved in the album A Tale of God's Will (A Requiem for Katrina) (2007) by Terence Blanchard , which was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2008.

With his own group Oracle he presented several albums. He can also be heard on albums by Gretchen Parlato , Chihiro Yamanaka , Kurt Elling , Walter Smith III , Laurence Hobgood , Myron Walden and Jason Palmer .
