Kennedy Winston (born July 29, 1984 in Prichard , Alabama , United States ) is an American basketball player who plays at a height of 2.00 m on the position of the small forward .

Winston began his basketball career at the University of Alabama where he was the top scorer of his team for two seasons and in 2005 led the points table of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with an average of 17.9 points per game. In 2004 and 2005 Winston was elected to the All-SEC first team and led his team into the play-offs of the NCAA championship in both years .

After Winston was tested in the summer of 2005 by the Memphis Grizzlies in the pre-season, but received no contract, he moved to Europe and played for one season with the Spanish first division club CB Gran Canaria . After another season in Greece with Panionios Athens Winston signed 2007 with the Greek top club Panathinaikos Athens and moved together with his teammate Efstratios Perperoglou to the reigning ULEB Euroleague champions, where he could achieve the double. After half a year in Turkey, he moved to Real Madrid in February 2009 .
