Khalid Kamal Yaseen
Khalid Kamal Yaseen (birth name Peter Ndegwa ; born October 10, 1982 ) is a long-distance runner of Kenyan origin who has been a Bahraini citizen since 2005 . He specializes in the marathon distance .
At the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka , he finished 29th in 2:26:32 h. In March 2008, he was first third in the Los Angeles Marathon (2:15:23 hrs) and two months later fourth in the Düsseldorf Marathon with a personal best of 2:11:43 hrs.
In 2009 he won the Madrid Marathon in 2:14:31 h . In the same year he only reached 40th place at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2:20:11 h.
