The Kiek-ut class consists of five workboats that have been in use for the federal waterways and shipping administration since 2015 .

description

The ships were commissioned in January 2014 by the mechanical engineering department at the Bolle shipyard . They have a robust hull made of steel and are of a Volvo Penta - diesel engine driven type D7A-TA. The fixed propeller and the rudder are specially protected by struts . With a drive power of 169  kW , a speed of 15  km / h and a bollard pull of 1.9 tbp are achieved.

The work boats are used for support in construction site areas as well as for maintenance and repair work on hydraulic structures . For this they are equipped with a hydraulically foldable and foldable bow ramp , a hydraulic anchor post and a push shoulder. The Lesum also has a ship crane with 0.5 t WLL and the Otter also has a silt flushing device .
