Kieran Webster (born July 12, 1997 in Perth ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Perth Thunder in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2014 and played in Switzerland in the southern hemisphere summer 2017/18.

Career

Kieren Webster began his career as an ice hockey player at EV Dielsdorf-Niederhasli and joined EHC Bülach in 2011 , in whose second U15 team he played for a year. In 2013 he returned to his hometown Perth , where he initially worked with the West Coast Flyers in the West Australian Superleague (until 2015) and since 2014 with the Perth Pelicans from the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League (until 2014) and Perth Thunder from the Australian Ice Hockey League played. He still plays for Perth Thunder today. He was also on the ice in the southern hemisphere summer from 2015 to 2017 with the Vermont Lumberjacks from the US Eastern Hockey League. In the southern hemisphere summer 2017/18 he played for Lenzerheide-Valbella and the EHC Arosa in Switzerland.

International

For Australia , Webster took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division III 2014 and Division II 2015 as well as the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 .

In the men's field, he was in his country's squad for the first time at the World Championships in Division II 2017 . In 2018 he was also on the ice in Division II.
