Killa Hakan (* 13. March 1973 in Berlin as Hakan Durmuş ) is a German-Turkish rappers .

biography

Durmuş was born as the son of Turkish guest workers in Berlin-Kreuzberg , where he also spent his childhood. His father Ali Rıza Durmuş was, until Hakan's birth, a wrestler in the Turkish national sport of oil wrestling and was six times in a row Turkish champion.

As a teenager, Hakan robbed a jeweler , was a member of the 36 Boys and was convicted of armed robbery. He was serving a four-year prison term. He started writing texts in prison. After his release, he joined gang colleague Boe B's rap project Islamic Force in the early 1990s . After the band broke up, Killa Hakan worked as a solo artist.

In 2002 he released his first solo album Çakallar . In 2003 Rapüstad was released , a Turkish and partly German-language album by rappers Killa Hakan and Fuat , on which his rap colleagues Ceza , Kool Savas , Tone and others also participated.

In 2005 the solo album Semt Semt Sokak, produced by Bekir Karaoglan , was released .

In 2007 Hakan released his fifth studio album Kreuzberg City . It features guest parts by, among others, Eko Fresh , Tone, Samy Deluxe , Olli Banjo , Jonesmann and Kool Savas . The first video for this album was shot for the track Herşey Yolunda . The rapper Eko Fresh and the singer Ayaz Kapli can be heard on the piece of music. The second video is titled Rap Game , in which Ceza and Gekko participate.

In December 2008, Killa Hakan released his sixth album Bomba Plak with Ceza. There are only two solo tracks on the album. The rest of the songs in the album are raped by Killa Hakan and Ceza. In November 2009 his seventh album Volume Maximum was released , on which rappers such as Sido , Eko Fresh, Ceza and Alpa Gun are represented with guest contributions.
