Killer Love is the debut album of American pop - singer Nicole Scherzinger . It was first released in the UK on March 18, 2011. Nicole Scherzinger started working on the album back in 2005. At that time she wanted to release the album called Her Name Is Nicole . But due to timing inconsistencies regarding the Pussycat Dolls tour, she has postponed work on her debut album. Producers such as RedOne ( Poker Face , Lady Gaga ) or Stargate ( Broken-Hearted Girl , Beyoncé , Closer , Ne-Yo or Rude Boy , Rihanna ) contributed to the album .

Singles

Nicole Scherzinger selected the anthem Poison produced by Red One as the lead single . The single was very successful and entered the top 20 of the charts in many European countries. In England, the single made it to number 3 on the official singles charts.

She released Don't Hold Your Breath as her second single . The title was originally planned for Timbaland's second album Shock Value 2 , written and sung by Keri Hilson . For unknown reasons, the song was not released on Timbaland's album and was re-produced by DJ Dave Audé. The single immediately made it to number 1 in England.

Nicole Scherzinger released Right There , a track with rapper 50 Cent , as the third single . It was their first single released in the United States. It reached high positions in the charts in many countries. In the United States, it made it to number 39 on the Billboard charts . In the United Kingdom, the single again made it into the top 3 of the singles charts. In Germany it reached number 61 in the official single charts due to the high number of downloads . She next released the singles Wet and Try with Me .

promotion

Nicole Scherzinger promoted her album in Europe through her Killer Love tour. She has also presented many songs in the US version of X-Factor .

Charts

In Germany the album reached number 85 on the album charts and stayed in the top 100 for a week. In Switzerland, the album made it to number 55 on the official album charts. In the British album charts, the album immediately reached number eight. Nicole announced in an interview that the album will no longer be released in the United States.
