Kim-Rune Hansen (born June 8, 1988 ) is a Norwegian snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines.

Career

Hansen drove his first FIS World Cup race in St. Petersburg in March 2006 , which he finished in 16th place in Big Air. Since 2006 he has also been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour competitions. He achieved his first podium finishes in slopestyle with third and first place at the Burton Am Tour in Trysil and Hemsedal . At the 2007 Snowboard Junior World Championships in Bad Gastein , he won bronze in Big Air . In January 2008 he won the O´Neill Evolution in Davos on the quarter pipe . Two months later he won his first and so far only FIS World Cup victory in Big Air in Valmalenco . At the Snowboard World Championships in 2009 he finished 35th on the halfpipe and 12th in Big Air. In February 2010 he won the Max It Big Air in Hafjell . At the Snowboard World Championships 2012 in Oslo he came in 48th place in slopestyle. He won silver on the quarter pipe. In the 2012/13 season he took third place in Big Air at the Spring Battle in Flachauwinkl and second place at The Shred Show in Whistler . In the 2013/14 season he won Big Air at Vienna Fridge in Vienna and took third place at Air & Style in Beijing . He finished the season in fifth place in the Tour Big Air classification. At the Winter X Games 2015 , he came tenth in the Big Air.
