Kipfenberg is a wasteland in the municipality of Bodenwöhr in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf ( Bavaria ).

geography

Kipfenberg is located in the east of Bavaria in the Upper Palatinate in the Upper Bavarian Forest Nature Park , about one kilometer west of state road 2398 from Neunburg vorm Wald to Bodenwöhr. The wasteland lies at an altitude of 415 meters.

Community membership

The villages and wastelands Kipfenberg, Höcherhof, Pingarten, Turesbach and Ziegelhütte belonged to the municipality of Taxöldern. On July 1, 1972, the municipality of Taxöldern was dissolved as part of the regional reform and was incorporated into the municipality of Bodenwöhr with its districts Kipfenberg, Höcherhof, Pingarten, Turesbach and Ziegelhütte.
