Kirchberg in Carinthia (from Oberwietingberg )
Kirchberg is a cadastral community of Klein Sankt Paul and a village on the western slope of the Saualpe in the Görtschitztal in Carinthia . The place has 33 inhabitants (as of 2001).
Parish church Maria im Moos
The church consecrated to “Our Lady”, usually called Maria im Moos or Maria Moos , was first mentioned in a document in the 12th century and has been the patronage church of the Archabbey of St. Peter in Salzburg since 1266 .
In 1839 Ludwig Mooser equipped the church with a new organ.
