The kkStB 1.2 was a series of steam trains operated by the kk Austrian State Railways (kkStB).

The two railcars were built in 1903 and 1904 by Komarek and Ringhoffer for the kkStB. The 1.201 was the first steam powered railcar built by Komarek. The two vehicles differed considerably in their dimensions, which suggests that the kkStB carried out comparison drives with the vehicles in order to make decisions regarding possible series production . The two cars were initially designated as CM 14.100 and 101, and only then as 1.201 and 202.

The 1.202 was used on the Wels local railway ; the 1.201 was rebuilt in 1905 , with a running axle under the engine room that the 1.202 had already had at the factory.

Both vehicles were retired in 1916 .
