Klaus Birkefeld
Klaus Birkefeld (born March 26, 1951 in Elsterwerda ; † November 18, 2018 in Berlin ) was a German actor , writer and director .
Life
Birkefeld was trained at the " Rostock State Drama School ".
He then had engagements at the Stadttheater Zittau , Landestheater Neustrelitz , Landestheater Altenburg , Theater Plauen-Zwickau , the Neue Bühne Senftenberg , as well as in Brandenburg , Halle , Hanover , Weimar , Jena and Tübingen .
In 2006 he played the leading role in a short feature film by Hagen Wiel , and appeared in supporting roles in two other feature films.
After 2014, Birkefeld worked at various independent theaters , including a. a. also participated in the inclusive dance theater project “multifil identity” of the dance theater director Bronislav Roznos, his former colleague from the Plauen-Zwickau theater.
Birkefeld also produced radio plays and recordings of texts by forgotten poets, among others. a. a CD with texts by Richard Leising .
Klaus Birkefeld was married, he had a daughter and a son.
