Klaus Körner (author, 1939)
Klaus Körner (* 1939 in Danzig ) is a German author with contributions to the history of publishing, history and political culture of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Life
Klaus Körner studied law and political science at the Free University of Berlin , in Bonn and Kiel . In 1965 he passed the first state examination and in 1969 the major state examination. He then worked as an assistant at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Hamburg . Since 1976 he has been working as a freelance writer for contemporary history. He worked in the contemporary history department of Stern , on several history books for Bertelsmann Verlag and on TV series for NDR . He also takes part in contemporary history exhibitions and gives lectures. Since 1988 he has mainly published works on recent German history , publishing history , journalists and politicians biographies and propaganda during the Cold War .
