Klaus Wenger

Klaus Rudolf Wenger (born June 22, 1947 in Tübingen ; † May 10, 2012 in Strasbourg ) was a German journalist and historian . He was managing director of ARTE Germany and ARTE coordinator of ARD .

education

Klaus Wenger studied history , German literature and education in Bonn, Munich, Paris and Göttingen. With the work Prussia in the public opinion of France: 1815 - 1870 he was in 1976 in Göttingen to the Dr. phil. PhD. From 1976 to 1980 he was an assistant at the University of Paris III and from 1981 to 1984 consultant in the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft .
