The Klein , also called Gleen (especially in the upper reaches) , is a 23.2 km long right-hand tributary of the Ohm from the northern Vogelsberg foreland in the Vogelsbergkreis and Marburg-Biedenkopf districts , Hesse .

The Klein rises in the extreme south of the Oberhessische Schwelle in the immediate western vicinity of the Rhine-Weser watershed and after less than a kilometer it accompanies the north-west federal highway 62 from Alsfeld to Kirchhain via Ober-Gleen , Kirtorf , where it meets the waters of the Omena takes up, and Lehrbach on their left southwest side. At the border between Kirtorf and Stadtallendorf , which is also the border between the two districts, she changes the side of the road and finally passes through Niederklein .

After flowing around the Brückerwald it counterclockwise, where the B 62 is crossed again, it finally flows northeast of Amöneburg and southeast of Kirchhain from the right to the Ohm .
