The 2008/09 Luge Challenge Cup was the tenth edition of this competition. Four events were held as part of the World Cup from November 29, 2008 to February 13, 2009. The host stations were:

Italy Cesana Torinese :

January 9, 2009: singles, women and men + doubles, men

Canada Calgary :

February 13, 2009: singles, women and men + doubles, men

In the run-up to the Luge Challenge Cup 2008/2009, five groups of two athletes each take part. The first and second fastest go to the final, the third and fourth fastest go to the small final.
