The Kleine Wilde is a 2,306 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps . It lies south of the Großer Wilde and is separated from it by the Wildenscharte .

There is no marked path on the Kleiner Wilde. Even the lightest climbs over the northwest flank or the west ridge require climbing experience as well as experience in pathless terrain. For this reason, it is rarely climbed.

The southwest side of the Kleiner Wilde breaks off with huge walls. There are some very difficult climbs here. For a long time, the great southwest intersection next to the Schneck -Estwand was considered the most difficult climbing tour in the Allgäu Alps . In the winter of 1992/93, large parts of the wall in the southwest face broke off, so that the Kleemaier lead through this wall can no longer be walked on since then. In the 1990s, various very difficult routes were opened up by sport climbers.

Although the Kleine Wilde is a rocky mountain, you will also find botanical rarities here, such as the dwarf galpenrose on the south ridge.
