The Klingenburg is a residential area in Jettingen-Scheppach in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ).
The place is 4 km southwest of Jettingen in a forest clearing and can be reached via a branch off the district road GZ 25 .
history
Klingenburg was originally an estate that was built in 1880/81.
A district of the community of Schönenberg until the municipal reform , Klingenburg was incorporated into Jettingen-Scheppach on January 1, 1972.
There has been a golf course east of the village since the 1980s . The buildings have been extensively renovated. The facility is a protected architectural monument .
architecture
The two-storey complex in the style of historicism was built by Gabriel von Seidl in 1880/91 . The main building and the outbuildings are grouped around a rectangular courtyard.
