The monastery dome is a 553 meter high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Main-Spessart . The summit is located in the district of Neustadt am Main and is the highest elevation that lies entirely in the district. The mountain is bordered in the north by the valley of the Rechtenbach and in the southwest by the Hafenlohr . The Main Valley runs to the east . In the south, the monastery dome at the forester's house Aurora goes flat to the Dreßlingkopf (516 m).
The Silberlochbach , Neuhöllbrunnbach , Hemmgraben and Dunkelgraben rise from the monastery dome .
