Klostertal is a village in the market town of Gutenstein in Lower Austria .
The scattered settlement is located in the Klostertal, which runs towards Gutenstein from the southwest and is traversed by the Piesting . An old name for the upper reaches of the Piesting is Klosterbach . The place Klostertal consists of numerous districts, of which Aichlmühl, Putzenhof and Wegscheid are the most important. In addition, there are several individual locations as well as guest houses and Somaruga Castle , a neo-baroque villa built around 1900 . South of Klostertal the state road L134 leads over the Klostertaler Gscheid into the Schwarzatal .
