Dafinka Koewa ( Bulgarian Дафинка Коева , English transcription Dafinka Koeva ; born January 19, 1990 ) is a Bulgarian biathlete .

Dafinka Koewa started in 2007 in junior IBU Cup races at international events. In the 2008/09 season she started in this competition for the first time in the women and was 63 in her first individual in Obertilliach. A little later she missed a first point win in Martell as 31st of a sprint by just one place, but was due to the good Appointed to the World Cup for the first time . Koewa made her debut here in Oberhof in 2009 and finished 82nd in a sprint. It was not until the 2011/12 season that she was able to improve this position with 74th place in a sprint on Oslo's Holmenkollen . The first international championships were the female junior races of the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . The next major event was the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby , where Koewa was 54th of the individual, 36th of the sprint and 26th of the pursuit, and with Jordanova and Nija Dimitrova again sixth in the relay competition. Shortly afterwards she entered the junior races of the European Championships again in Otepää and was 39th of the individual, 36th of the sprint and 33rd of the pursuit. In 2011 she started again in Nové Město na Moravě at the Junior World Championships and in Ridanna at the junior races of the European Championships . In the Czech Republic Koewa was 49th in the individual, 26th in the sprint, 30th in the pursuit and 15th in the relay. At the European Championships in Italy she only started in the individual, but did not finish. Subsequently, the Bulgarian should start at the Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk , but did not compete in the individual despite the announcement. The Bulgarian had her first appearance at an international championship in the performance area at the Biathlon European Championships 2012 in Osrblie , where she was 41st in the sprint, but did not compete in the pursuit or in the individual.
