The Communist Party (short name: KP ) ( Cyrillic Комунистичка партија ), ( Serbian : Komunistička partija ) is a communist party founded in Serbia in 2010 . It emerged from the union of parts of the New Communist Party of Serbia with the Social Democrats of Neusatz . The party follows the ideology of the CPY , tailored to the current political situation in the country. The party's president is Josip Broz Joška, the grandson of the former President of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito . 30 years after the death of his grandfather, Joška submitted the 12,000 signatures required to register a party to the responsible ministry.
Parliamentary election in Serbia 2012
In the parliamentary elections in Serbia on May 6, 2012, the Communist Party, which ran with a list of 60 candidates, received 28,977 votes, or 0.74%, and thus failed to make it into parliament. In its election manifesto , the KP announced the following goals:
