action

Movie

As a baby, Kong was saved from poachers by the boy Lukas Remy and his family, to which his father, the scientist Dr. Leo Remy and his twin brother Richard were taken to San Francisco . When Kong has a growth spurt and suddenly becomes huge, they move into the redwoods . Richard is injured in an accident in her father's laboratory, for which he blames Kong, and leaves the family. Ten years later (in 2050) Richard is a scientist building bionic robots from dinosaurs; Luke, in turn, saves endangered animals. When Kong takes part in a rescue operation, the media gets attention again. Kong is now said to wear an electronic safety collar and live on Alcatraz Island , which is then called Kong Island, where Leo Remy is establishing a natural history and marine reserve for Lukas' rescued animals, while Richard is setting up an amusement park with his robots. Richard manipulates Kong's collar so that he freaks out and appears as a monster, whereupon the monkey has to flee into the woods with Lukas and his friends. Richard leaves by poachers Liger , who had been rescued by Luke, threaten, thus Kong and his friends return and liberate them. Richard makes it appear to the media as if Kong stole weapons in the process, so that he is now considered a criminal.

Episodes

In the other episodes of the first season Richard and his Bionobots develop various evil plans against Kong and Lukas, who have to stop him and save animals. Richard builds himself up with Bionobot technology, while his Bionobot assistant Botila, because she feels oppressed, slowly rebels. Just as Kong begins to want to know his origins, Richard lures him and Lukas up a volcano and pushes them into it, whereupon Botila pushes Richard down again. You land in an underground jungle world with living dinosaurs.

In the second season they find a temple of a monkey civilization from which Kong was descended and was sent up. Because the public saw Richard push Kong and his brother into the volcano, when they get back up, Richard is seen as a wanted criminal and Kong as a hero. Botila has now taken over Kong Island and is planning to take control with clones, the AI liberation front. After defeating Botila and Richard, Kong decides to stay in the underground world while his human friends choose to live in both worlds.

characters

Kong
was saved as a baby by Lukas Remy. He's growing into a giant, but he keeps the brains of a three year old. He becomes a fugitive from the law in season one, but his reputation is cleaned up again in season two. In the subterranean jungle world, he and his friends find out his origins: He is descended from the local ape civilization and was sent upstairs to save them.
Dr. Leo Remy
was the father of the twins Lukas and Richard and a respected bionics scientist. He died a year after establishing the natural history and marine reserve on Alcatraz, which he bequeathed to his two sons in equal parts.
Lukas Remy
is a son of Dr. Remy and Richard's twin brother. Of the two brothers, he is the one who cares about nature and animals. As a boy he saved the baby monkey Kong. Later he and his team go on rescue missions for endangered animals.
Richard Remy
is Lukas' twin brother. In contrast to this, he is not a fan of nature or animals and from the start had a strong dislike for Kong, whom he considers a stupid monkey. Instead, he is obsessed with the bionic robots and emulates his father in them. After he was injured in an accident in his father's laboratory, he modified himself to become the first bionic human, including an artificial eye. He has built a Bionobot assistant named Botila and several Bionobt dinosaurs, with which he turns Alcatraz into an amusement park. But he uses this to harm Kong and Lukas.
Botila
is a female bionic robot built by Richard and his personal assistant. Because Richard doesn't value her share in his successes against Lukas and Kong and doesn't see her as an equal partner, she betrays Richard. She takes over Kong Island and Richard's Bionobots, including three clones of herself, with whom she forms the AI liberation front as "Majesty Botila". Eventually she is betrayed by her clones herself.
Lukas' team
Lukas later goes on rescue missions for endangered animals with his best friend Doug Jones, called Jonesy, a technology specialist. On Kong Island, the siblings Amy, a veterinarian, and Danny Chon, who can talk to Kong and other animals, join them. When they have to flee into the woods, Anita, the Remys housekeeper, comes with them, who has a bionically modified parrot named Chatter. In the second episode, Anita's great niece Franciska, known as Panchi, joins them after Lukas and Kong save her from an anaconda.
More opponents
  • Commissioner Decker: the San Francisco police chief who hunts Kong as a criminal after Richard accuses him of theft.
