Konstantin Küspert

Konstantin Küspert (* 1982 in Regensburg ) is a German playwright and dramaturge .

Life

Konstantin Küspert studied German , politics and philosophy at the University of Vienna as well as scenic writing at the University of the Arts in Berlin . From 2013 to 2015 he was acting dramaturge at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe . There he developed pieces about NSU and NSA as well as a stage adaptation of Hermann Hesse's novel  Das Glasperlenspiel . He also re-translated Euripides '  Die Troerinnen into German. Konstantin Küspert has been working as a dramaturge at Schauspiel Frankfurt since the 2017/18 season . His play The West was invited to the Mülheimer Theatertagen 2019 .
