Sibylle Broll-Pape
Sibylle Broll-Pape (* in Iserlohn in the Sauerland) is a German director and theater director.
Life
After studying mathematics, computer science and English at the universities of Dortmund and Bonn, she worked in various independent theater groups in North Rhine-Westphalia as a director, dramaturge and producer from 1983 . Her focus was on the multimedia area. In 1991 she founded the Prinzregenttheater in Bochum and directed it from 1995 to 2015. Since 1999 she has concentrated on the production of contemporary drama and music theater and has received invitations to various festivals in Germany and abroad. a. to the festival "Impulse", the theater meeting of the independent scene, 1999 and 2001.
Since the 2015/16 season she has been the director of the ETA Hoffmann Theater in Bamberg . Under her directorship, the theater was awarded the Federal Theater Prize for its program by Minister of State for Culture Monika Grütters in 2017.
