Krückeberg is a district of Hessisch Oldendorf in the Hameln-Pyrmont district in Lower Saxony .
The village is located about eleven kilometers northwest of Hameln and about 2.5 kilometers from the core city of Hessisch Oldendorf. The neighboring town is Zersen . Hessisch Oldendorf consists of the core city and six localities; one of them is the village of Hohenstein , to which the district Krückeberg belongs. Krückeberg currently has about 326 inhabitants. The center of the small village is the Petrikirche of the parish of Weibeck-Krückeberg.
The first documentary mention was made in 1242. The founding of the church probably goes back to around 1000. The Krückberger "Junkernhof" is one of the oldest Burgmann farms in Schaumburg, whose founding dates back to the Carolingian era.
The village and cultural life is predominantly shaped by the Krückeberger Heimatverein and the volunteer fire brigade .
