The Kreuzjoch is with a height of 2558  m above sea level. A. the highest peak in the Kitzbühel Alps in Tyrol .

The Kreuzjoch also forms the south-western end of the Kitzbühel Alps. To the west it borders on the Zillertal , to the southeast on the Gerlostal . The neighboring peaks of the Kreuzjoch are the Torhelm ( 2494  m ) in the northeast and the Isskogel ( 2264  m ) in the east . The Kreuzjoch is accessed by a network of hiking trails and is part of the Zillertal Arena ski area .
