Kritzenthal is a district of the municipality of Treffelstein in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The desert Kritzenthal is about 2 km northeast of Treffelstein near the German-Czech border near the Biberbach, which rises about 6 km further northeast across the German-Czech border on the slopes of the 698 m high Kozí vrch and 7 km further south in the Bohemian Schwarzach flows.

history

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Kritzenthal was listed as part of the Ast parish with 2 houses and 12 residents.

In 1927 Kritzenthal successfully applied for his detachment from the Ast parish and his assignment to the (closer) parish of Treffelstein.

In the course of the preparations for the Second World War , a depot for rifles, various other weapons and equipment was set up in Kritzenthal.

On December 31, 1990, Kritzenthal had 3 residents and belonged to the parish of Treffelstein.
