Krychivtsi

Krychivtsi ( Ukrainian Крихівці ; Russian Криховцы Krichowzy , Polish Krechowce ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 7500 inhabitants (2017).

The village is located in the Subcarpathian Mountains , within the historical Galicia landscape on the bank of the Bystryzja Colotwynska ( Бистриця Солотвинська ), an 82 km long tributary of the Bystryzja .

The village founded in 1441 (according to the official local website, it was first mentioned in writing as early as 1427) is the only village in the district council of the same name within the urban district of Ivano-Frankivsk . Krychivtsi is located 5 km southwest of the city center in the vicinity of the city's airport .

The N 09 road runs through the village .
