Krystyna Zabawska (born Danilczyk ; born January 14, 1968 in Dąbrowa Białostocka ) is a Polish shot putter .

At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 1991 , she was twelfth and tenth at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. The following year she was eliminated from qualifying at the World Championships in Stuttgart .

At the 1997 World Championships in Athens, she was eighth. In 1999 she won the silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi and was again eighth at the World Championships in Seville .

A fifth place at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney was followed by a tenth place at the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, a seventh place at the 2002 European Championships in Munich and a sixth place each at the 2003 World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Her last major success was the silver medal at the 2005 European Indoor Championships in Madrid. At the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg she was ninth, at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing she failed in qualifying.

With the exception of 1995 and 2005, Krystyna Zabawska won the national championship outdoors in all years from 1991 to 2006 and in all years from 1990 to 2008 indoors with the exception of 1995, 2001, 2002 and 2007.

Her husband Przemysław Zabawski is also her trainer. The couple lives in Białystok and has a daughter Daria , who was born in 1995 and is also a track and field athlete (she competes in discus throwing).
