Church ruins in the place

The village is located in the west of the historical landscape of Galicia in the Halych Raion on the Bybelka River (Бибелька), about 9 kilometers northeast of the Halych district center and 31 kilometers north of the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast center.

Together with the village of Sahirja-Kukilnyzke (Загір'я-Кукільницьке) it formed the district council of Kukilnyky , on September 13, 2016, the place became part of the newly established settlement community of Bilzhivtsi (Більшагагавсковскавана селschelyska .

The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1421, was initially in the aristocratic republic of Poland-Lithuania , Ruthenian Voivodeship , and came in 1772 as Konkolniki (later also Kąkolniki ) to what was then the Austrian Crown Land of Galicia (until 1918 as a market in the Rohatyn district ).

After the end of the First World War, the place became part of Poland , was incorporated from 1921 as Konkolniki in the Stanislau , Powiat Rohatyn , Gmina Konkolniki voivodeships and was only occupied by the Soviet Union during World War II and by Germany from 1941 to 1944 and the Galicia district connected. After being reconquered by Soviet troops in 1944, it came back to the Soviet Union in 1945 and was incorporated into the Ukrainian SSR , since 1991 the place has been part of today's Ukraine. Under Soviet rule, the market status was revoked in 1939 when it was downgraded to a village.

The eastern village of Sloboda Kukilnyzka (Слобода Кукільницька, Polish Słobódka Konkolnicka ) was incorporated into the place in 1983.

In the place are the ruins of a castle from the 17th century and the ruins of a baroque church.
