Kurt Klinger (born July 11, 1928 in Linz , † April 23, 2003 in Vienna ) was an Austrian writer and publicist as well as a literary and theater critic.

Klinger graduated from the commercial academy in Linz and initially worked as an employee of the federal building administration .
