Kyle Eastwood (born May 19, 1968 in Los Angeles , grew up in Carmel-by-the-Sea ) is an American jazz musician ( double bass , electric bass ) and film composer.

Kyle Eastwood is the son of Clint Eastwood and Maggie Johnson. He first studied film studies at the University of Southern California before deciding on a career as a musician. He was initially active as a session musician; his first own album From There to Here was released in 1998.

Kyle Eastwood was responsible for the music in many of his father's films. He also worked as an extra or actor. In 2011 he presented the album Songs from the Chateau on Candid / Harmonia Mundi , which he recorded with French musicians; The album The View from Here (Jazz Village) followed in 2013 . The album Time Pieces was created in 2015 and was released on the JazzVillage label . Other musicians on this album are Brandon Allen, Quentin Collins, Andrew McCormback and Ernesto Simpson.
