course

The Lánský potok rises at the northern foot of the Roveň ( Menzelkuppe , 778 m) and the Strážiště ( Hutberg , 812 m) in the Reichensteiner Mountains in the Czech Republic . The village of Nové Vilémovice extends along its upper reaches. Then the brook forms a deep valley on its way to the northeast and flows past Červený Důl , Hřibová and Zastávka through Uhelná , where it reaches the Patschkauer foreland and runs largely parallel between the Račí potok and Vojtovický potok . On the further course are Domkáři, Dolní Fořt and Pavlínka. There the Lánský potok is bridged by the railway line Bernartice u Javorníka – Javorník ve Slezsku and then flows into Polish territory. Its lower course leads past Dziewiętlice to the west . At the lower end of Dziewiętlice the Lánský potok flows into the Świdna .

The brook has a length of 15.7 kilometers, 14.2 kilometers of which are in the Czech Republic. The Czech part of the catchment area covers 22.9 km² and 454 people live there. The average flow rate on the Polish-Czech border is 0.454 m³ / s.
