Lüsche is a district of the Steinhorst community in the Gifhorn district in Lower Saxony in the southern part of the Lüneburg Heath . The Auermühle estate, which is located outside of the local area, also belongs to Lüsche .

Lüsche is located in the northeastern part of the Steinhorst community, 4 km northeast of the core town of Steinhorst. Bundesstraße 4 runs three kilometers east of Lüsche . The Lachte , an approximately 38-kilometer-long tributary of the Aller, runs 500 m east of Lüsche . East and south of Lüsche lies the 1090 hectare large nature reserve Upper Laughed Kainbach, Jafelbach .

Around the year 1585 Henricus de Harlingebarge from the Diocese of Verden was entrusted with a tithe from Lusche (Lüsche) in the Isenhagen office .

Infrastructure

The 1970 opened Schullandheim Forsthaus Lüsche is located in the building of a former forester of 1789.
