Lüsche is a district of the Steinhorst community in the Gifhorn district in Lower Saxony in the southern part of the Lüneburg Heath . The Auermühle estate, which is located outside of the local area, also belongs to Lüsche .

Lüsche is located in the northeastern part of the Steinhorst community, 4 km northeast of the core town of Steinhorst. Bundesstraße 4 runs three kilometers east of Lüsche . The Lachte , an approximately 38-kilometer-long tributary of the Aller, runs 500 m east of Lüsche . East and south of Lüsche lies the 1090 hectare large nature reserve Upper Laughed Kainbach, Jafelbach .

Around the year 1585 Henricus de Harlingebarge from the Diocese of Verden was entrusted with a tithe from Lusche (Lüsche) in the Isenhagen office .
In 1777 5 fireplaces are mentioned in Lüsche.
In 1925 the Schützenverein Lüsche -räderloh eV was founded and the first shooting range was set up.
In 1954 a new school building was built. On August 15, 1967, the school in Lüsche was closed and the children had to go to school in Steinhorst from then on.
On January 1, 1972 or March 1, 1974, the community Lüsche (with Gut Auermühle) was incorporated into the Steinhorst community together with the neighboring community in the west of Radloh .
The former municipality had an area of 14.80 km².

Infrastructure
The 1970 opened Schullandheim Forsthaus Lüsche is located in the building of a former forester of 1789. The water company is part of the Water Board Gifhorn , which in 1969 established Schützenheim the shooting club Lüsche-Räderloh 1925 eV The post office, the restaurant and the forester were closed are shops for daily needs not available in Lüsche. On the edge of the village there is a driving sport training area. On the last weekend in July, the traditional annual rifle festival is celebrated in Lüsche. Bus lines run from Lüsche to Hankensbüttel , Groß Oesingen and Steinhorst.
