Nichtewitz is to the east close to the village of Arzberg. The county road 8913 runs east to Federal Highway 183 to the northern district of Elsterberg and near the forest of Struth Berg over.

history

The row village with a corridor and 772 hectares of agricultural land was first mentioned in 1251 as Nichtewitz . The residents changed the name insignificantly in the course of time until 1505. In 1559 14 people lived in the village. In 1818 there were 183, in 1880 254, in 1946 755. The believers visited and visit the churches in Arzberg. From 1445 to 1551 the higher authority was located in Liebenwerda , then in Mühlberg / Elbe also in Schweinitz and from 1816 in Torgau . On July 1, 1950, the place was incorporated into Arzberg.
