Packisch is a district of the municipality of Arzberg in the district of North Saxony in Saxony .

Packisch is located northeast of Belgern and southeast of Arzberg before Stehla on the state road 25. The district is in the transition to the Elbe valley .

history

The individual estate mentioned in 1378 was a manor house . It developed into an estate district. 1529 by a Vorwerk reported it was in 1791, Vorwerk and sheep and from 1880 royal domain . The number of inhabitants went hand in hand with this development. In 1551 there were 2 possessed men , 1 gardener and 26 residents in the Vorwerk , in 1818 there were 129 and in 1895 124 inhabitants. They were parish in Blumberg (Arzberg) . The place was called Pokebusch in 1240 . The spelling changed to Packisch in the course of time until 1791 . The higher authority was in Torgau in 1378 , then Mühlberg / Elbe , Liebenwerda and has been Torgau again since 1994. After 1945, the managers of the farms took the East German route .
