Prausitz is a homestead in the municipality of Arzberg in the district of North Saxony in Saxony .

The Prausitz homestead is located in a heather forest on state road 25 northwest of the village of Arzberg, southeast of the city of Torgau .

history

The homestead belonged to Triestewitz and was first named as Pruz in 1251 . In 1442 the court was called Pruss / Villa . So the name changed to Prausitz over time . In 1551 three people lived on the homestead, in 1818 there were 35. They were parish in Arzberg. The authority was first based in Schweinitz and then to this day in Torgau. The farm has been part of the Arzberg community since 1974.
