The district of Kaucklitz is located southwest of Arzberg on the state road 25 southeast of the city of Torgau . The district is located in the transition to the Elbe valley .

history

The rural, relaxed street village of Kaucklitz has a corridor with 253 hectares of usable space. In 1251 the village under construction was called Kukeliz . In 1545 it was already called Kauckelitz . At this time there were 7 people living here. In 1818 there were already 68 and in 1945 155. They went and still go to church in Arzberg. The higher authority was only in Schweinitz and then always in Torgau. On July 1, 1950, the place was incorporated into Arzberg.
