Lütterz is the smallest district of the community of Großenlüder in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda . The place is 3 km east of Großenlüder above the Lüder . In Lütterz there are no street names, only house numbers that residents, postmen, suppliers and visitors have to use for orientation.

First mentioned the place in 1058. Previously was standing at the southern edge a bower . Once there was a castle in the forest.

On August 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Lütterz was incorporated into the municipality of Großenlüder as part of the regional reform in Hesse .

The mayor is Jürgen Fröhlich (as of November 2016) .
