La Batie-Divisin is a former French community with 923 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . La Bâtie-Divisin belonged to the Arrondissement of La Tour-du-Pin and was part of the canton of Chartreuse-Guiers (until 2015: canton of Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine ).

It was merged with the former municipalities of Les Abrets and Fitilieu with effect from January 1, 2016 and merged to form the Commune nouvelle Les Abrets en Dauphiné .

La Bâtie-Divisin is located about 36 kilometers north-north-west of Grenoble in the plain of the Chartreuse Mountains .
