On January 1, 2016, La Chapelle-Yvon was incorporated into the new municipality of Valorbiquet as part of a regional reform together with four neighboring municipalities .

geography

La Chapelle-Yvon is located in the Pays d'Auge . Lisieux is around twelve kilometers northwest of the village . Bernay to the east is a good 20 kilometers away. The Orbiquet flows through La Chapelle-Yvon coming from the north-west. The Eure department begins directly to the east of the local area .
