The Laisbach is a silicate low mountain range and a body of water of the III. Order. Its dominant fish region is the lower trout region and its overall ecological status is classified as poor. Its catchment area is located in the southwest of the natural landscape of Unterer Vogelsberg and is 44.38 km² in size.
