Branch village; is 1 St. from Nidda, has 15 houses and 89 inhabitants, who are Protestant except for 1 Catholic, and among which there are 15 farmers and 2 craftsmen. The place also has 1 oil mill. - With Bellmuth, which appears in a rather old but undated Fulcrum deed of donation, the von Ortenbergs were enfeoffed by the Counts of Ziegenhain for a time and until 1345.
