Bobenhausen I is a district of the municipality Ranstadt in the Wetteraukreis in Hesse .
Geographical location
Bobenhausen I is located on the southwestern part of the Vogelsberg am Laisbach . The main town of Ranstadt lies to the west and can be reached via the 3184 road .
history
The oldest known written mention of Bobenhausen I was on March 12, 1335 as Babenhußen.
The statistical-topographical-historical description of the Grand Duchy of Hesse reports on Bobenhausen in 1830:
"Bobenhausen (L. Bez. Nidda) evangel. Branch village; is 1 1 / 3 St. of Nidda and 1 / 2 St. of Ortenberg. The place consists of 45 houses, which are inhabited by 266 people, all of whom are Protestant, and among whom are 32 farmers and 16 craftsmen. "
Territorial reform
On October 1, 1971, the municipality of Bobenhausen I was incorporated into the municipality of Ranstadt as part of the regional reform in Hesse .
