The Lala ( Russian Лала ) is a right tributary of the Lusa in the Arkhangelsk and Kirov Oblasts in northwestern Russia .

The Lala rises in the hill country south of the city of Koryashma in Arkhangelsk Oblast. It flows east first, but then turns south. It now flows through the extreme northwest of Kirov Oblast in a southerly direction, passes the urban-type Lalsk settlement and, after a river stretch of 172 km, flows on the right into the Lusa flowing west. The Lala drains an area of ​​1010 km². The mean discharge (MQ) at the Alexandrowo gauge , 11 km above the mouth , is 8 m³ / s. The river is mainly fed by the snowmelt . The monthly mean in May is 43 m³ / s.
