Lalrindika Ralte (born September 7, 1992 in Lunglei ) is an Indian soccer player . Ralte is known in India for his good long-range shots.

Career

Ralte began his career at Churchill Brothers SC and scored his first goal on August 1, 2010 against JCT Mills FC , Churchill won the game 6-0. In 2010 he was loaned to the Pailan Arrows and scored his first goal there on December 3, 2010, it was also the first game of the Pailan Arrows ever in the I-League. On May 7, 2011, Ralte met twice against Mumbai FC and helped his team to a 2-1 victory.

After the end of the loan period he returned to Churchill Brothers SC and scored his first goal there since his return against Prayag United on November 1, 2011 , the game ended 1-1. After a total of seven goals scored Ralte moved to Kingfisher East Bengal in May 2012 , where he made his debut for his new club on September 21, 2012 against Sporting Clube de Goa . His first goal for East Bengal he scored on September 27, 2012 in the Federation Cup against his old club Churchill Brothers SC, the goal came in the 111th minute of extra time. He scored his first goal in the I-League for his new employer on October 11, 2012 against United Sikkim FC with a free kick in the 82nd minute, it was the only goal of the game, East Bengal won the game 1-0.

National team

Ralte played for the U-16 , U-19 and U-23 of India . For the U-16s he scored three goals, two of which he scored with a brace on October 4, 2008 against South Korea in the first group game of the U-16 Asian Cup in 2008 , but India lost the game 2: 5. For the U-19s he also scored twice within five minutes (15th and 19th minutes) on November 10, 2009, but his team also lost this game 3: 4 to Oman's U-19s . Ralte made his debut for India's first selection on July 10, 2011 against the Maldives in a friendly when he came on for Syed Nabi . The game ended 1-1.
