Lalruatthara (born January 7 or January 17, 1995 ) is an Indian football player who is mainly used in defense .

Lalruatthara was born in Mizoram , an Indian state on the eastern edge of the Indian subcontinent. More precisely: He comes from Champhai, one of the eight districts of Mizoram, which is close to the border with Myanmar .

At the age of 13, he left his home for the planned city of Chandigarh , the capital of the two states of Punjab and Haryana , to attend the "Chandigarh Football Academy", to whose alumni a . a. Lalruatthara made his senior debut with Luangmual FC in 2012, where he stayed for a year before joining Chanmari FC in 2013 . He then signed a contract in 2015 with Aizawl FC , a club from the I-League (Indian Professional Football League), the top Indian division alongside the Indian Super League founded in 2014.

After his first I-League season, Lalruatthara was loaned to Delhi Dynamos FC for the Indian Super League in 2016, but did not play a single game.

In the 2017 I-League season , he returned to Aizawl FC. The club from Mizoram's capital Aizawl was in first place after 18 matchdays at the end of the season. Lalruatthara won his first Indian championship.

After winning the title, he was in draft 2017/18 from Kerala Blasters FC , a football - franchise from Kochi selected. In his first Indian Super League season with the Blasters, he made 85 tackles - more than any other Indian player. In spring 2018, his contract there was extended until 2021.
